Slamp
Coates’ ongoing collaboration with the Italian lighting company Slamp began with Slamp:ville. This collection includes three luscious chandelier designs realised in the company’s own material Opalflex. Full of suggestion and expression, they make a remarkable group that represents the full breadth of the Slamp ethic for ironic, unique lighting. Medusa, the top of the range and loaded with Swarovski crystal, will make a remarkable statement in any living-room. Whether in black or white, Ginetta re-interprets the more traditional chandelier. Fiorella is an exuberant floral tangle that when chosen in Crystalflex, has a unique quality of reflection and refraction. Other pieces in the group include Ecstacity and Dafne tube lights, and the more light-hearted Rabbits in an irreverent pink. New additions include the Aurora ceiling lamp and Devil, an oversized lamp for clubs and bars.
